Arya Verdi is a Toronto-born vocalist based in the Netherlands, singing jazz standards, bossa nova, romantic ballads, and contemporary jazz-pop. Singing since childhood and classically trained, she has always been drawn to jazz, old love songs, and lyrics that say the things people often keep to themselves.
Influenced by Sarah Vaughan, Astrud Gilberto, Chet Baker, and Laufey, Arya brings a soft, emotionally open voice to songs about love, longing, heartbreak, and hope.
